He leads Core Energy Ventures and its subsidiaries with a track record of execution, an extensive industry network, and a direct approach to getting deals done. As Chief Investment Officer, Julio is the technical and analytical backbone of every transaction Core Financing underwrites. He leads all investment evaluation, bringing the rigor of a trained petroleum engineer to the underwriting of mineral, royalty, and non-operated working interest acquisitions. His dual command of engineering and finance ensures that every dollar of capital deployed is backed by sound technical judgment and disciplined underwriting.

Wayne brings 20+ years of public accounting experience to his role as CFO of Core Financing, including his tenure as Partner and Owner of CWG Group and as VP and CFO of 77 Oil Properties. He oversees all financial reporting, compliance, and capital management for the firm, ensuring the integrity and transparency that investors and counterparties expect on every transaction.

Michelle brings 30+ years of experience in financial operations, treasury management, and client relations to her role overseeing all daily operations at Core Financing. From bookkeeping and transaction closings to filings and process management, she ensures every deal moves efficiently from submission to close.

John George

Business Development & Acquisitions

John leads business development and acquisition efforts at Core Financing, specializing in sourcing, evaluating, and executing mineral and non-operated working interest transactions. With 4 years in mineral acquisition and 4 years in debt and lending, he brings a disciplined, analytical approach to asset valuation, deal structuring, and underwriting on every transaction.
